The partnership marks the first time Vision Aerial has joined forces with RobotLAB, whose current portfolio includes mobile robots for restaurants, hospitality, floor scrubbing, and sidewalk delivery. With eight of Vision Aerial’s products, franchisees can now offer local support to service providers for optical gas imaging, solar inspection, mapping, construction, or crop surveying.

Elad Inbar, founder and CEO of RobotLAB, believes that this partnership will cater to the growing demand for inspection drones in various industries. “Our goal is to provide multiple applications and use cases,” he said. “Whether it’s power station surveys or agricultural monitoring, we want to ensure that our customers can capture valuable insights.”

RobotLAB conducted extensive market research to identify potential partners and evaluated numerous drone providers before settling on Vision Aerial. The company’s evaluation process involves a rigorous 50-point assessment, including testing reliability, payload specifications, control systems, autonomy, and customer feedback.

Vision Aerial offers configurable payloads, including cameras and sensors like infrared cameras or lidar sensors, which can be easily integrated into their drones. This reconfigurability was a key factor in RobotLAB’s decision to partner with Vision Aerial, as it enables franchisees to offer customized solutions tailored to specific customer needs.

The partnership has already yielded results, with Vision Aerial’s drones deployed at various institutions, including universities and the U.S. Air Force. RobotLAB’s franchise model, launched in May 2023, aims to expand its reach across North and South America, with a goal of reaching 100 cities by the end of 2025.
