Poco Unveils Crushing Blow With X8 Pro Max Specs Revealed

Poco X8 Pro Max and X8 Pro Full Specs Leaked
Recent weeks have seen the Poco X8 series making headlines with multiple leaks surfacing online. The latest development comes in the form of a tipster who claims to have shared the full specifications of both devices. According to this leak, the Poco X8 Pro Max and X8 Pro are set to be launched soon.
The Poco X8 Pro Max is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, boasting an impressive 2000 nits brightness and using 3840Hz PWM dimming for smooth visuals. Under the hood, this device will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s processor paired with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.
The phone is expected to come equipped with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. On the camera side, the Pro Max may include a 50MP Light Hunter 600 main sensor with optical image stabilization, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 20MP OV20B camera is expected on the front, providing high-quality selfies and group photos.
The battery life of this device is also impressive, with a reported 8500mAh capacity. The phone will be capable of fast charging via its 100W wired charger and reverse charging feature. Other notable features include dual stereo speakers, LHDC 5.0 audio support, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for added durability.
Connectivity options may include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring seamless connectivity across various devices. The device is expected to measure 8.15mm thick and weigh 219 grams, making it a solid contender in the smartphone market.
The standard Poco X8 Pro will be more compact with a 6.59-inch 1.5K TCL M10 OLED panel, also at 120Hz and 2000 nits HBM. This device is expected to run on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Like its Pro Max counterpart, it could offer LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The camera setup may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, plus the same 20-megapixel selfie camera. Keeping it running could be 6500mAh with 100W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.
Redmi Turbo 5: A Possible Rebranding?
The Poco X8 Pro is also tipped to carry IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, a metal frame, NFC, and an IR blaster. It may feature an optical in-display fingerprint scanner instead of the ultrasonic unit on the Pro Max. Connectivity could top out at Wi-Fi 6.
Both devices are expected to ship with Android 16 and HyperOS 3 out of the box. The exact launch dates for these devices have not been confirmed, but it’s speculated that they will be available in January next year.
SGS Certification Listing Reveals Key Details
A new SGS certification listing has revealed early details about the upcoming Poco X8 Pro. The device is linked to the model number 2511FPC34G and shows up with standard features like Bluetooth, WLAN, NFC, and 5G support across bands including n1, n3, n7, n8, n28, n38, n41, and n78.
The listing confirms the use of a USB Type C port and references a battery labelled BM6Q, pointing to a 6500 mAh capacity with a rated value of 6330 mAh. The accompanying power adapter, identified as MDY-19-EX, supports 100W wired charging and carries Class II protection.
Redmi Turbo 5: A Rebranded Version?
Past reports have suggested that the Poco X8 Pro could arrive as a rebranded version of the yet-to-launch Redmi Turbo 5. Supporting this theory, a Redmi device with the model number 2511FRT34C appeared on the 3C certification website earlier this month.
The shared similarities in model numbering have strengthened expectations that Poco may follow its usual strategy of adapting certain Redmi models for global markets under the Poco badge. If this turns out to be accurate, the Poco X8 Pro may carry much of the same hardware profile as the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 when both devices finally go official.
Turbo 5: A China-Exclusive Launch
The Turbo 5 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch flat OLED LTPS 1.5K screen, a metal middle frame, and a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity. It may also pack the same hardware as the Poco X8 Pro, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings.
Turbo 5 Launch: A December Surprise
The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to launch in December, with its global counterpart, the Poco X8 Pro, potentially following suit. The exact launch dates for these devices have not been confirmed, but they are likely to arrive in January next year.
