Nvidia-Powered Robot Sweeps Away Bathroom Cleaning Challenges

Primech AI has integrated an NVIDIA system on module (SoM) into its latest HYTRON bathroom cleaning robot, set to transform the way airports, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, and office buildings maintain their hygiene standards. The integration of NVIDIA’s advanced technology enables Primech AI to achieve remarkable efficiency and precision in its robots.

According to Charles Ng, Chief Operating Officer of Primech AI, harnessing the power of NVIDIA’s cutting-edge technology sets a new standard for robotic cleaning performance and efficiency. “By leveraging NVIDIA’s advanced technology, we’re setting a new standard for robotic cleaning,” he stated.

The HYTRON mobile manipulator is designed to navigate tight spaces with ease, utilizing artificial intelligence to conduct multiple tasks simultaneously. Its first commercial trials took place in September 2024, garnering positive feedback from customers.

NVIDIA’s Jetson Orin Super SoM provides superior processing at the edge, enabling the robot to deliver enhanced performance and reliability in autonomous toilet cleaning. This compact and energy-efficient device is supported by a suite of NVIDIA software tools, including CUDA for parallel computing, CuDNN for deep learning acceleration, TensorRT for optimized neural networks, and NVIDIA Driver for seamless communication between the operating system and GPU.

These innovations dramatically enhance processing speed, efficiency, and overall responsiveness. With its latest technological advancements, Primech AI is poised to expand its market presence and revolutionize the cleaning industry through innovation.

The company has participated in NVIDIA’s Inception program for startups and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Golden Rim Investment Ltd., which owns three hotels in Japan with approximately 260 rooms. The global cleaning market is projected to reach around $74 billion by 2025, according to Primech AI.

To capitalize on this growth, the company plans to launch HYTRON in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai in 2025, followed by Australia in 2026 and the rest of the world in 2027. As the demand for efficient and effective cleaning services continues to rise, Primech AI’s partnership with NVIDIA marks a significant milestone in the company’s mission to transform the industry.

With its cutting-edge technology and commitment to innovation, HYTRON is set to become a leader in robotic cleaning solutions. By integrating NVIDIA’s advanced technology, Primech AI is not only enhancing its existing offerings but also paving the way for a new era in cleaning services.
