Equipped with advanced sensors and navigation systems, the DJI Flycart 30 Pro navigated treacherous terrain to deliver approximately 880 pounds of apples over two days, completing 20 trips in under 2 minutes. The original 40-minute journey by foot became a thing of the past as the drones effortlessly transported the precious cargo.

Tanbo Masahiro, owner of Tanbo Orchard, praised the innovative solution, stating, “Due to landslides and collapsed roads, it was impossible to get to the orchard by car. We consulted with Ishikawa Prefecture authorities and learned about this new method of transport by drone. Although loading apples onto a drone takes longer than by car, once we got the hang of it, it went smoothly.” The farmer’s experience serves as a testament to the versatility of drone technology in disaster-prone areas.
