Drone Revolution Takes Flight As Avpl Opens 30 Aero Vision Labs Across India

Gurugram-Based AVPL Revolutionizes Drone Education Across India with 30 Aero Vision Labs

AVPL International, a leading Gurugram-based drone tech startup, has successfully established 30 Aero Vision Labs across 13 Indian states and union territories in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This strategic move aims to enhance technical education by providing practical drone training to students and faculty, paving the way for a future-ready India.

The launch of these labs is part of a larger plan to establish 50 Aero Vision Labs nationwide, underscoring AVPL’s commitment to democratizing access to drone technology. The initiative not only reflects the company’s vision but also demonstrates its dedication to contributing to the country’s growth and development.

AVPL shortlisted 47 institutions based on infrastructure and airspace zoning criteria, ensuring that each lab meets stringent standards. The labs are equipped with AVPL’s indigenous Viraj agriculture drone, flight simulators, telemetry systems, and diagnostic tools, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience. The labs span at least 5,060 sq. ft., providing ample space for students to engage in hands-on training and experimentation.

The Aero Vision Labs offer students a range of training programs, including the Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC), Kisan Drone Operator (KDO), and Drone Service Technician certifications. These programs are designed to equip students with the skills required to operate drones safely and efficiently, while also providing them with a competitive edge in the job market.

Faculty members, too, undergo a rigorous ‘Training of Trainers’ (ToT) module to ensure that they can deliver standardized skill delivery in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This emphasis on faculty training underscores AVPL’s commitment to supporting educators and providing them with the necessary tools to prepare students for the challenges of the drone industry.

The launch of these labs in other states and union territories demonstrates AVPL’s commitment to national coverage, ensuring that drone technology is accessible to students across the country. Gujarat and Karnataka lead the way with six labs each, highlighting a push towards drone education in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

In addition to providing training and education, AVPL is also offering opportunities for internships, live projects, and entrepreneurial incubation through these labs. This holistic approach to supporting students and faculty reflects AVPL’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Founded in 2016, AVPL has established itself as a leading player in the drone industry, training over 100,000 professionals in drone and allied sectors through its DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO). The startup’s success is a testament to its innovative approach to drone technology and its dedication to supporting the growth of the industry.

AVPL’s establishment of 30 Aero Vision Labs across India represents a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards democratizing access to drone technology. By partnering with AICTE, AVPL has helped to create a network of state-of-the-art training facilities that will enable students and faculty to develop the skills required to succeed in the drone industry.

The company’s focus on providing hands-on training and equipment has resonated with educators, who recognize the value of practical experience in preparing students for the drone industry. AVPL’s decision to establish Aero Vision Labs has been well-received by educational institutions, which are enthusiastic about collaborating with AVPL on this initiative.

As AVPL continues to expand its presence across India, its commitment to drone education remains unwavering. With 30 Aero Vision Labs now operational, the company is poised to play a significant role in shaping the future of technical education in the country. By providing students with hands-on training and equipment, AVPL is helping to create a generation of drone professionals who are equipped to drive innovation and growth.

The initiative has been instrumental in bridging the skills gap in the drone industry, which is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. With AVPL’s efforts, the country is poised to become a hub for drone technology, driving economic growth, enhancing national security, and promoting sustainable development.

AVPL’s collaboration with AICTE reflects its commitment to supporting educational institutions and providing them with the necessary resources to prepare students for the challenges of the drone industry. The company’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship is also reflected in its entrepreneurial incubation programs, which are designed to support start-ups and entrepreneurs working in the drone sector.

In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, AVPL’s commitment to drone education remains a beacon of hope for a brighter future. By providing students with the skills required to succeed in the drone industry, AVPL is helping to create a generation of professionals who are equipped to drive innovation and growth.
